Types Of Industrial Waste
Foundry waste sand
Waste foundry sand, a by-product of ferrous and non ferrous metal casting industries is one such promising material which can be used as an alternative to natural sand in the WARP process.
Rock mining waste
Mining and mineral-processing wastes are one of the world's largest chronic waste concerns
Cryolite waste
Cryolite is added to reduce the melting point of aluminum ore as the melting point of cryolite is 1009° C. This allows the process to take place at 920° C to 1000° C.
Caste iron slag waste
Slag recycling is crucial due to limited landfill space and increased disposal costs.Proper utilization of slag helps reduce environmental impact and preserves natural resources. It is suitable in the WARP process as filler.
Eco sand waste
Eco Sand is a superior alternative to traditional sand to use in WARP process, made from recycled waste generated in the Cement process
M-Sand dust
M-Sand dust is a byproduct produced during the manufacturing of M-sand that cannot be used efficiently in construction projects. Manufactured sand can contain larger amounts of micro fine particles than natural sand. This can affect the strength and workability of the concrete and these fine particles are dumped as a waste by-product called M-Sand dust, which is abundant in quantity but of no use. It is compatible in the WARP process as filler
Pond ash
Ash pond is an engineered structure used at coal-fired power stations for the disposal of two types of coal combustion products: bottom ash and fly ash. The pond is used as a landfill to prevent the release of ash into the atmosphere.
Fly ash
Fly ash is captured after coal combustion by filters, electrostatic precipitators and other air pollution control devices. It comprises 60 percent of all coal combustion waste
AAC block dust
AAC blocks are a type of lightweight, precast building material that is composed of cement, lime, sand, water, and a small amount of aluminium powder. The aluminium powder reacts with the other materials in the mixture, producing hydrogen gas, which creates tiny air pockets throughout the material. Lot of dust powder is produced in the process used as filler in the WARP process.
