Agglomerator
The Agglomerator machine features a rotary working chamber mounted on a single rotor bed equipped with cutting blades. Fixed cutting blades are also installed within the rotary chamber, aligning with the rotor bed blades. The rotor bed is driven by a large electrical motor connected through reinforced, water-cooled bearing housings and large-diameter pulleys. The heavy-duty steel construction of the rotary working chamber enhances thermal insulation, promoting better densification.

Functionality
Agglomerator machines are designed to crush and compact soft film-type plastics into smaller lumps. The plastic films are fed into the rotary working chamber, where they are cut into smaller pieces by the rotating and fixed blades. The frictional forces within the chamber heat the crushed film pieces, causing them to solidify into irregularly shaped spherical granules. Once the plastic particles reach the desired density, water is introduced into the chamber to break down the agglomerates into smaller lumps. The material is then dried and discharged.
